Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/25/2020
Christmas Prayer

Dear lord,
Please follow all of the lost stars and give them guidance.
Give them a hope to follow.
Give them a dream to see.
Let them hear the prayers being said for them.
Let them understand the place being set for them.
Talk to them and keep them encouraged.
Assure them and keep them searching for hope.
Let their journey define them, not their concerns.
Guide them on a path to bring warmth to everyone.
Amen.

Enjoy your Christmas, and keep you families safe!

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/24/2020

Shining down on a town,
where a miracle is born.

All people coming from all around,
the knowledge of the star grew from town to town.

No longer lost and always to be found,
shining light on miracles in this world all around.

Appearing in real life,
the answer to a child’s prayer.

The hope for those to no longer despair.

The hope for those to no longer fear.

The reason to keep Christmas close and near.

No longer lost.

End: “The Christmastime Dream – The Lost Star”

Thank you for reading.

December 23, 2020

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/23/2020

In the land where the dreams came from,
the paying was definitely not done.

The growing warmth from this one lost star,
now had no higher bar.

The hope expanding under it’s watch,
bringing a brighter light with less distance.

Many, because of this once confused star,
now travel from far.

An answer to prayers they will have,
an answer they could never imagine.

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/22/2020

As the frost covers the trees,
they become gifts wrapped by nature for free.

Given to those by one once lost,
internal warmth protects them from the frost.

Beaming down on those it now loves,
the light from the star is now the same as a pair of perfect doves.

It’s heart lighter and burning brighter,
becoming hope to those that make it through every night.

One day to become a marker of the brightest hope of all …

December 22, 2020

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/21/2020

The gifts of Christmas,
a star’s warmth brings out in mass.

Christmas fruits of giving,
honor all that is living.

More than a light,
is this once lost star at night.

A hope in it’s glow,
a new friendship basking in it’s light.

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/20/2020

A star looking down,
to all it’s new friends on the ground.

Small, large, walking, crawling, and playing,
all their problems no longer weighing.

A simple gift given brings all,
it’s lonely travels never a true barrier wall.

New friends all over it brings it’s warmth to,
a star shining bright that is no longer blue.

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/19/2020

Flowing through the grass,
like blood flows through a vessel.

The power of life,
gathers from a star bright.

The gift it gives to all,
is a gift it gives to to itself, most important of all.

A star lost may no more be,
because of life t can now see.

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/18/2020

Shining though a winter’s beauty,
once lost, coming around.

Ice crystals beam with joy,
teaming with life and more.

Prayers lined like the silver of a cloud,
all sorts of life looking up from the ground.

A thankfulness created,
gratefulness a-bound.

December 17, 2020

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/17/2020

Tracing the star’s steps in a large snow field,
a bright happiness it did yield.

Wishing upon a star finding it’s place,
a home found in this remote part of space.

The little girl below still prays,
a star’s decision to stare.

Now not all lost,
looking for some friends to play.

December 17, 2020

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/16/2020

A cloud in the sky scatters the star’s warmth everywhere,
calming the cold that very few hold dear.

A temporary time of non-direct light,
waging against the chill a non-direct fight.

Such a beautiful white,
never seen fully at night.

A warmth of all colors,
bring a reason to the season to those with delight.

December 15, 2020

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/15/2020

The star casting a shadow down on one,
suggests the changing of a season is done.

Now knowing some worth,
it’s self-esteem is gaining some girth.

No longer wandering at length,
it thinks this may be a good place to stay.

Wishing for more worthiness,
no longer looking forward to the nothingness …

December 14, 2020

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/14/2020

Carving out a home from season,
fall memories blossom into new reason.

A star above looks down below,
it’s own reflection seen in the icy snow.

Not a time goes by now,
when a person passes by and whispers, “Wow!”

A lost star seeing the beauty it brings,
to a world needing less material things.

December 13, 2020

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/13/2020

A dried memory of a season gone by,
the star gleams at the memories of those down below.

Wishing it too for times to look back on,
something to reminisce before it’s own dawn.

The family and child down below,
storing these times wherever they go.

Dreaming of dreams in this season of hope,
it’s reflections brightening all of the snow.

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/12/2020

The star’s light illuminating the sky,
adding life to those wandering by.

New dreams and wishes arrive under the star,
children’s imaginations go high above the bar.

Slight discourse happens no more,
courtesy shows what’s in store.

A lost star is maybe not so lost,
a place it’s found makes it helpful to all.

Will the star stay ….

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/11/2020

Plants and animals soaking up the stars life,
warm up from the frosty night.

The gifts from the star aren’t always seen,
some come from the days between.

Taking time to add flavors and comfort to much,
the holiday dinners come from such.

Many a time do we forget,
not always do we just get.

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/10/2020

Staring up from it’s bog,
was a motionless frog.

Staring into the light of the less distant star,
wondering if it heard all the prayers from afar.

The very human race,
wants you to know in this world you definitely have a place.

The love of your warmth, the safety of your light,
the all know will make their days bright.

December 9, 2020

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/09/2020

Something so small in the sky,
once dim now turning bright.

In the past surrounded by darkness,
now the giver of light.

A tiny thought now lights up the night,
bringing desires to make everything right.

A shiny new thing to many below,
made large by the wishes of a tiny child standing in the snow.

December 8, 2020

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/08/2020

Burning in this star is a flame it hardly noticed,
it held this light in the back of it’s mind.

The prayers of a little girls changed it’s thinking from being blind,
opening up place for this star in everyone’s mind.

Too many times less is more,
and even a star knows not what is in store.

A precious find once traveling in the dark,
turned into hope walking in the park.

The Christmastime Dream – “The Lost Star” 2020 Poem – Day 11

December 7, 2020

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/07/2020

A single Christmas tree – a lone friend of the star,
knows the meaning of it’s light, the best by far.

A testament of it’s importance to all,
the tree knows the star’s touch more than most.

Confused by it’s friends distraction,
trying to understand it’s lonely action.

Stars should be the most loved of all,
the are the lights at night that give hope to all.

December 6, 2020

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/06/2020

Looking upon the worlds it’s light has been cast,
the newly sprung life seems overwhelmingly vast.

The star begins to feel it may be helping this along,
but what are those bright shimmering lights cutting through the fog?

Could it be a sign of life in the night,
could it be hope giving light?

A child looking up again at the sky,
wonders if the burden of a star will be lightened.

She knows there is more …

December 5, 2020

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/05/2020

While the star stared down from beyond,
a small critter watches the child pray for the star.

Knowing what she is doing and what the star is wondering,
the critter keeps relaxing and doing it’s thing.

It wonder’s in it’s small mind,
if the star’s purpose for this Christmas it will find.

The importance of it’s life,
will erase much strife.

December 4, 2020

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/04/2020

The star gazing into the reflections of a pond,
resembling a painting of a place far abroad.

Not realizing what it is,
not really understanding all the buzz.

The painting in the pond,
is truly a sign from beyond.

To tell the star what it is,
to keep it’s mind from becoming a-frizz.

The Christmastime Dream – “The Lost Star” 2020 Poem – Day 7

December 3, 2020

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/03/2020

While on the way to grandmother’s for a holiday stay,
the fate of a star a child ponders away.

Will it be here for holiday play,
or will fear keep it at bay.

The Christmastime mind a child easily has,
to an older heart it might not easily be had.

For a soul confused about it’s place,
may not realize it’s warmth is the only thing a child needs in this space.

A holiday present isn’t always the gift,
it is many times what you do with.

A gift to this star, isn’t really that far …

December 2, 2020

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/02/2020

Waiting for it’s mother,
this babe in life basks in the warmth of the star.

In a frozen state,
for it’s mother’s safety it waits.

The star stays near,
to lessen the babe’s slight fear.

The glow of the star,
keeps the babe from flight.

December 1, 2020

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 12/01/2020

Looking out of her tiny home feeling all alone,
does the star feel the same way, not knowing it’s not alone.

The warmth of the fireplace,
the warmth of the star in space.

Does it know what it has to offer,
does it know it’s emotional coffer?

Maybe those like the star are not alone,
just searching for something to call a home.

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 11/30/2020

Another night, a moon lit up bright,
the wandering star cannot be seen even afar.

Miles and miles and miles on the other side of the land,
another child looks up with a smile.

The lost star seems to converse,
telling this child about all of the universe.

An exhilarating find for this wandering mind,
a warm light just starting to bind.

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 11/29/2020

Soaring in the wind the wings of flight,
diving and bursting out of the night.

The little bird looks up above it’s head,
and noticed a brightness that has yet to be lead.

Flying high up into the sky,
wondering why to ask why.

Out of the brightness seems to come a little grin,
a smile from the little girl looking up from the wintry whiteness.

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 11/28/2020

Skipping to church with her parents by her side,
this child with a star in mind decided to pray.

Oh, please let this star find it’s way,
and let it never had anything but a happy day.

It seemed so alone with no friends so see,
I hope it to become a friend for me.

A child that has a heart bigger than her mind,
understands that this star is really part of time.

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star” – 11/27/2020

Staring from her home, outside and cold,
she noticed a start that looked tired and old.

Wondering how it became that way,
she grabbed a handful of snow and began to play.

“Stars aren’t supposed to look old”, she said thinking out loud,
they should always be bright with happiness and hope.

Wondering she looked up again from her play,
running inside, she held the thought for another day.

The Christmastime Dream – “The Lost Star” 2020 Poem – Intro and Summary

November 25, 2020

Christmastime Dream “The Lost Star”

thechristmastimedream2020_f_v1_web

Blaring through the trees,
a star asks, “is this where I should be?”

I’ve wandered through a bark night,
to bring on a new day.

I see no rejoicing in any sense,
no abundant dancing in any way.

Searching the galaxy for long,
my happiness to be given freely.

Am I lost?,
is there nothing to be?

This year’s writing does not yet have a set story line.  As usual the writing will continue on the day after Thanksgiving and remain on until Christmas Eve.
